The moment I downloaded the many applications that come along with Adobe, I immediately felt nervous. There is a vast number of applications that all do completely different things, which can be quite overwhelming. While in the beginning I did not fully comprehend how to use each individual application, taking advanced notes on each application got me there. Though these applications may be a bit confusing in the beginning, it is something I must come to understand for the sake of my future career.
One of the most crucial aspects of creating anything on an Adobe application is to get inspiration first. On almost every one of my projects I use inspiration from others to then decide on what I want to create and what type of elements I may choose to include. With photoshop being the first of many that I learned to use, I easily became obsessed with it. I often would just scroll through random pictures that would help me brainstorm what I may want to create.
In the same aspect as getting inspiration for a project, I was also able to use online information and transform it into something of my own, which is what I believe allowed me to grow as a public relations professional. In two of my recent projects that use Adobe’s InDesign and Illustrator, I had the opportunity to look at two different organizations and decide what would be a good story to include with the information provided. In addition to using each application individually, I was recently able to use them all together in one project, taking my creative skills to the next level.
The vast abilities available on adobe is quite hard to comprehend but is crucial to my future. Having a solid understanding of Adobe is what will make me flourish as a public relations professional. I firmly believe that without my new knowledge of what Adobe and its many uses, my creative abilities would not have sparked in the way that they have.
