Creating a brand for a company can be quite a difficult task. Completing a rebrand of a company can be even harder for some. There are a variety of elements that are crucial to a great rebranding. Sticking to similar trends used in a company’s previous brand is the ultimate key. At the same time, giving the company of pop of fresh and modern vibes is highly important and just what I hope to do.
One of my favorite restaurants growing up in Norman was Legend’s. If you haven’t tried it yet, you definitely should. It’s more than the mouth-watering food, it’s the immaculate service and family-oriented outlook. The only thing they could add a little spice to is their branding. For as long as I can remember, the Legend’s logo and various other elements have remained constant.
The first element I wanted to add some updated themes to was the logo itself. I designed a whole new logo with the primary colors of black and white. I chose these colors with the intention of keeping a simpler look if the company decided they wanted to add color to it. The logo I went with has a more modern look compared to others here in Norman. Additionally, I used this logo on a variety of potential company products including a coffee mug, to-go bag, and a business card. This allows Legend’s to get a better understanding of what the logo would look like if implemented.
The logo was also used on a new and updated menu for Legend’s. Legend’s has quite a variety of options available on their menu, making it crucial to have an organized format. With all sections bolded and increased in size, visitors are more easily able to navigate what delicious meal they will choose.
Creating additional elements to Legend’s rebrand such as social media posts was the most interesting aspect of rebranding. Taking into account Legend’s current brand, I attempted to stay with more neutral colors that would easily blend in yet stand out on their various platform’s feeds. I also included a photo that is similar to something you could eat at Legend’s. Additionally, I included numerous textual and geometric figures to go with the photo and grab the attention of viewers.
