Freshmen Nervousness

Creating an infographic based on an organizations fact sheet can be quite a complex task. When deciding what type of information to convey, it is crucial to keep your target audience and objective in mind. This is essential to your infographic being useful and relevant to the reader.

I remember coming into college and feeling an intense nervousness that I would not fit in. Understanding what type of people attend the university I was looking into was crucial. I wanted to have people that I would fit into and that would have similar interests as me. More importantly, I wanted to see that the University I was looking to attend carried a diverse outlook. After all, college is all about new experiences and new people. In turn, this would allow me to make increasingly meaningful relationships with people that will hopefully last forever.

Now that I am an upperclassman, I want to give back to the freshmen in as many ways as possible. Proving them with opportunities to understand more about what their freshman year might look like is essential when deciding a college to attend. Once provided with this information, they have further opportunities to get involved with people they may find similar to themselves or highly different. Knowing that their opportunities don’t stop after high school, but that they continue throughout college and life is essential.
